The FINAL cut can be a fade or freestyle design of your choice on your model. * You must show a complete transformation* Entry Fee: $100.00 The Nas Signature Cut 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm Each competitor has 30 minutes to cut the hair down to brush length. You must complete a mid to high bald fade and execute the signature “hook” part at the top of head. *You Must Show a Total Transformation* Entry Fee: $110.00 FIRST HALF AWARD CEREMONY 4:05pm -4:25pm The Traditional Best Fade & Style 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm Each competitor has 45 Minutes to cut a FADE and ANY STYLE on their model. Low Or Mid Fade Is Allowed! *Beard Is Optional* *You Must Show a Total Transformation* Entry Fee: $150.00 The Best Creative Cut 5:30pm – 6:30pm Contestants will have 60 minutes to complete their best creative cut/style. The haircut can be a fade, design of your choice. You are allowed the use of a “hot tool” such as a curling iron, straightener, blow dryer, etc. This is your chance to have full creativity on your model. Have fun and play with the haircut, color, style wardrobe! The finished overall “LOOK” will be judged. Judges will be focusing on, cleanliness, fade, color, style, precision, technique, finish. Special Rules for this Category No Pre-Cut – No Spray Paint Model Must Be Pre-Color (If planning on having model With Color Hair) *Barber must show a transformation on their models from beginning to end. * Entry Fee: $125.00 SECOND HALF AWARD CEREMONY 7:00pm – 7:30pm GENERAL RULES FOR ALL CATEGORIES 1. All categories are open to all barbers and cosmetologists. 2. Each competitor must provide a live model. (Their admission included in entry fee.) 3. All competitors must check-in at the registration area at least two hours prior to the competition to allow makeup time on model. If a competitor is late, they will forfeit their place and their paid entry fee. 4. All participants (competitors and models) must sign a release form for photos & videos. 5. A competition briefing will be provided in the competition arena prior to the competition to ensure all have a good understanding of the rules and procedures. 6. All competitors and models must remain in the competition arena until the judges announce their decision. 7. There is no dispute process for the judging of this competition. 8. Competitors are to bring their own tools and products including capes, combs, clips, shears, clippers, spray bottles with water, brushes, blow dryers, irons, styling products, etc. 9. Dye and Fiber is allowed in ALL CATEGORIES except for THE NAS SIGNATURE CUT. 10. No color spray or glitter sprays of any sort are allowed on your haircut. (NO EXCEPTIONS!)
